SPARSH is SVNIT's annual cultural festival. It usually takes place in the second or third week of February. The largest of its kind in western region, this five-day festival consists of COMPETITIONS (including MAJOR competitions like Bandwars, Sparsh Idol etc., Informal Events) and Gala cultural nights.

The 'Sparsh Nights' are the Inaugural Night, Singing Night, Dancing Night, Fashion Night and the Celebrity Night.

Workshops & Exhibition

Movie Making
If you want to make movies, but don't want to spend a lifetime learning how, Sparsh'13 gives you a chance to learn this unique skill from one the most young and well known short- filmmakers, Chakshu Khatsuria. The workshop is a professional program through which students actively participate in all aspects of filmmaking craft.

Body Language and Etiquette
A good personality isn't everything, body language and etiquette tell people a great deal about you. Whether it's a job interview or an MBA admission, make a great impression on the committee by attending this workshop and having a head start against the rest of the crowd. This workshop will be taught by professionals with years of experience, and you're guaranteed to have a good time too.
Art Exhibition
The process of drawing is before anything else, the process of putting the visual intelligence into action, the very mechanics of visual thought. Unlike painting and sculpture it is the process by which the artist makes clear to himself, and not to the spectator, what he is doing. It is a soliloquy before it becomes communication. Self Defense for Ladies
Throw caution to the winds, and start having fun again! You'll never have to be scared if you take this course. Taught by Masters of self defense, this workshop will teach you everything you need to know to get yourself out of dangerous situations. This course is open to Women of all age groups, and will give you a good workout as well.
